Food safety is a priority for us as a business and of course for you as a customer. This is why we’ve implemented very strict food safety practices to reduce the risk of issues as much as we possibly can.

Happily the Food Standards Agency recognized the work we’ve done and have awarded All Good in the Hood with a 5 star food rating.

We follow strict guidelines when it comes to labeling ingredients.

Here are some of the many steps we take to keep our food and you safe:

  • All products on the website have the full list of ingredients provided to us by the manufacturer so you can make an informed decision at point of purchase.
  •  Any loose items we package for you will have a full ingredients and allergens list printed at the point of packing.

With the introduction of Natasha’s Law in 2022, we’re legally required to display all allergens in product ingredient descriptions and on product labels when packed by us. But our policy goes further than that to lower the risks as much as we can.

However, although we take as many precautions as possible there is still some risk of cross contamination. Although products such as nuts and gluten are stored in separate containers, they are kept within the same room.

Legally required allergens will all be in bold on our ingredients lists on our website and on products which we package for you.

  • The legally required allergens are; Celery, cereals containing gluten (e.g. wheat, rye, barley and oats), crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, soya, sulphur dioxide.
  • We understand that some customers may have allergies not included on the list, so please contact us if you’re unsure and need any more information before you buy.
  • All items have their own dedicated scoops and storage tubs to reduce the risk of contamination.
  • Allergen items will be stored seperately in our stock room wherever possible.
  •  You’re welcome to come into the shop anytime to see how we do things, we’ll always be happy to show you around.
  • You’ll be asked at checkout if anyone in your household has allergies. If you answer ‘yes’, we’ll pack your order separately in a sealed box to limit the possibility of cross contamination as much as possible.
